General Information: Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus strain PAL5 (ATCC 49037) was isolated from sugarcane roots in Brazil. Nitrogen-fixing plant symbiont. This bacterium has been found in sugarcane, coffee, rice, tea, and other plants.
