General Information: This strain was derived from a toluene-degrading isolate, Pseudomonas arvilla strain mt-2 (renamed Pseudomonas putida mt-2), by loss of its plasmid. Pseudomonas bacteria are found in nature in a biofilm or in planktonic form.
