Subject: NC_010296:1271393 Microcystis aeruginosa NIES-843, complete genome

Lineage: Microcystis aeruginosa; Microcystis; Microcystaceae; Chroococcales; Cyanobacteria; Bacteria

General Information: Toxic bloom-forming cyanobacterium. Microcystis aeruginosa is a common cyanobacterium which can form blooms from late summer to early autumn in nutrient-rich lakes, ponds, and reservoirs.
