General Information: Salmonella enterica subspecies enterica serovar Typhi P-stx-12 is a clinical isolate obtained from a Typhoid Carrier in India. This group of Enterobactericiae have pathogenic characteristics and are one of the most common causes of enteric infections (food poisoning) worldwide.
