General Information: Causes stunting in sugarcand and Bermuda grass. This species comprises two xylema-associated, fastidious, slow growing subspecies that cause ratoon stunting (growth-hindering) disease of sugarcane and Bermuda grass stunting disease, respectively. Pathogenicity has been associated with production of a toxin.
