General Information: Lactobacillus amylovorus GRL 1112 strain has been isolated from porcine faeces. This strain is also of interest as a putative probiotic. Petroleum reservoirs are a unique subsurface environment characterized by high temperatures, moderate to high salt concentrations, and abundant organic matter.
