General Information: Hyperthermophilic acidophilic sulfur-metabolizing archeon. This organism is an obligate aerobic, hyperthermophilic, acidophilic, sulfur-metabolizing archeon. Growth occurs between 50 and 87 degrees C with optimal growth at 85 degrees C and a pH of 2-4.5.
