Query: NC_011729:812594 Cyanothece sp. PCC 7424 chromosome, complete genome Lineage: Cyanothece; Cyanothece; ; Chroococcales; Cyanobacteria; Bacteria General Information: This strain was isolated from a rice field in Senegal. The genome shows that these cells have the ability to store the products of both photosynthesis (glycogen) and nitrogen fixation (cyanophycin) as intracellular inclusion bodies.
