General Information: C. pecorum is a species of Chlamydiaceae prevalent in mammals, notably: cattle, sheep and goats (ruminants), koalas (marsupials), and swine. C. pecorum strains are serologically and pathogenically diverse. E58 is the first C. pecorum strain sequenced.
