General Information: Lactobacillus amylovorus GRL 1112 strain has been isolated from porcine faeces. This strain is also of interest as a putative probiotic. Lactobacillus amylovorus is a common member of the normal gastrointestinal tract microbiota in pigs, and specific strains have been suggested as potential probiotics.
