Query: NC_009621:389181 Sinorhizobium medicae WSM419 plasmid pSMED02, complete sequence Lineage: Sinorhizobium medicae; Sinorhizobium; Rhizobiaceae; Rhizobiales; Proteobacteria; Bacteria General Information: Nitrogen-fixing soil bacterium. This species was isolated from Medicago truncatula, where it forms nitrogen-fixing root nodules. Effective nitrogen fixing, aerobic microsymbiont of a diverse range of annual Medicago (medic) species. Has saprophytic competence and acid tolerance properties.
