General Information: Insect symbiont. Zinderia insecticola, a Betaproteobacteria, is a co-endosymbiont with Sulcia muelleri in the spittlebug Clastoptera arizonana. Candidatus Zinderia insecticola is a family of Gram-negative bacteria in the order Burkholderiales.
