General Information: Paenibacillus mucilaginosus (formerly Bacillus mucilaginosus), the type species of Paenibacillus, is consequently widely used as microbial fertilizer in agricultural applications due to its growth-promoting properties. P. mucilaginosus 3016 was isolated from rhizosphere soil and widely used in microbial fertilizer for most manufacturers in China.

General Information: This strain is a strongly adherent, slime-producing, pathogenic strain isolated from a patient with intravascular catheter-associated sepsis. Common skin bacterium. Staphylcocci are generally found inhabiting the skin and mucous membranes of mammals and birds. Some members of this genus can be found as human commensals and these are generally believed to have the greatest pathogenic potential in opportunistic infections. This organism is the most prevalent and persistent Staphylococcus species on human skin.
