Query: NC_015634:2694706 Bacillus coagulans 2-6 chromosome, complete genome

Start: 2694706, End: 2720775, Length: 26070

Host Lineage: Bacillus coagulans; Bacillus; Bacillaceae; Bacillales; Firmicutes; Bacteria

General Information: Bacillus coagulans, a lactic acid producing bacterium, was first identified as a spoilage agent of milk products. This organism can be used in the production of ethanol and lactic acid from cellulose and hemicellulose acid hydrolysate.
